Upgraded Motherboard
This console features an upgraded, re-designed motherboard from FunnyPlaying with built in individually settable RGB LEDs and audio amplifier for loud, crisp audio!
The CPU (Processor) and RAM (Memory) chips are taken from a donor Game Boy Advance console and transplanted onto this brand new fully functioning motherboard.
Note: Please refer to the last image for instructions on setting the LEDs.
Modern Backlit Screen
Say goodbye to plugging in worm lights or trying to find the perfect spot in the sun in order to be able to see your game boy advance screen clearly! This console has been fitted with a FunnyPlaying 3.0 IPS Backlit screen. This screen has improved pixel resolution, whilst maintaining the same size and aspect ratio as the original screen (no distorted / stretched images):
- Built-in OSD Menu.
- 3 display modes: Normal, Other, Point to Point (gives a pixel effect similar to how the original GBA screen looked).
- 15 brightness levels.
- 4 color modes.
- FRM On/OFF function(Frame blending On/OFF) is included. For a small number of games, the image effect will be better when FRM is turned on. For most games, there is no need to turn on FRM function. By default, FRM is OFF.
- Touch Screen to change the brightness.
To activate the on-screen menu and change the settings:
- Press the Select button for 2 seconds to activate the OSD Menu.
- Press the Select button to select the adjustment item when OSD Menu activated.
- Press the L or R button to adjust the item when OSD Menu activated.
Audio Amp & Speaker Upgrade
The motherboard incorporates a much better sound amplifier chip compared to the original GBA motherboard. This has been paired with an uprated speaker, also from FunnyPlaying, for clean, crisp audio.
USB-C Rechargeable Battery Pack
This console has been fitted with a FunnyPlaying USB-C rechargeable battery pack. The battery capacity is 1800 mAH and supports charging and playing at the same time.
Please Note: Charger and USB-C cable are not included, but the console will be fully charged prior to dispatch.
